Camron Malik is the Chief Information Officer and Vice President of Information Technology for Texas Windstorm Insurance Association and Texas FAIR Plan Association.

Prior to joining the Associations, Camron held leadership positions in systems development, quality, and technology operations at Texas Dow Employees Credit Union (TDECU), AT&T, Hewlett-Packard, Compaq, and Tandem Computers. At TDECU he created and led a technology and application development organization. At AT&T Wi-Fi Services, he built and led the Quality Control organization which implemented an integrated Agile project management and quality program.

During his tenure at Hewlett-Packard Camron led numerous initiatives and product development programs, including Business Continuity solutions, Business Intelligence servers and next-generation communications architectures for systems. At Compaq, Camron was responsible for Networking and NonStop Clusters product development for the Proliant server line.

Camron holds a Master of Science degree in Computer Science from the University of Houston and Bachelor of Arts degrees in Biology and Computer Science from the University of Texas at Austin. Camron is also active with the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE) and is the past Chair of the Computer Society in Austin.
